The “Thoranapaku” is the very first ceremony conducted on the day of the wedding to kick-start the all other wedding festivities. “Thoranam” is made up of Mango leaves (and flowers) that will be tied up on the main entrance of the house amidst loud traditional music of Sannai melam. “Thoranam” can be tied up on all the doors of the house if you would like to. The entire house can be decorated with the flowers for this happy occasion.

- Invite close family members for the ceremony
- Prepare Thoranalu Mango leaves
- Shopping List: String to tie up the mango leaves
- Arrange Music band
- Decorate the house with flowers
